Tesla Kawakami is a third year student at Western Washington University pursuing a degree in studio art with a minor in creative writing and an illustration certificate. Their art has been featured in galleries such as the Seattle Art Museum and Western’s B Gallery. In the future they hope to work on editorial illustrations and write picture books.
