Deathbells

To eat steak, blue-rare and bloody, with a younger mouth,
Teeth that are free of cavities, intact and, as yet, unstained-
I think within these reveries there is an intangible chrysalis;
Conscience is formed unconsciously and deathbells emerge

Intact and, as yet, unstained. Teeth that are free of cavities
Provide poor shelter for gambits and torn consequences
In consciousness and deathbells emerge, conscience is formed,
Glint like oiled gunmetal in the harvest moon moonlight.

Torn consequences provide poor shelter for mashed
Together words, taste like water returned as spirits
In the harvest. Moon moonlight glint, like oiled gunmetal,
Is swallowed in fluid gulps by a night that never sleeps.

Like water returned as spirits together, words taste
With a younger mouth. To eat steak, blue-rare and bloody,
A night that never sleeps is swallowed. In fluid gulps
There is an intangible chrysalis. I think within these reveries.
