Elyse Miyake is currently a senior at Western Washington University pursuing a double major in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis and Art Studio. An Ocean Condensed is a triptych of paintings focusing on the artist’s experience with mental health. The works were recently shown in the art exhibition Anomalous in March of 2020. Miyake hopes to graduate in Fall 2020, hoping to pursue a profession in art and literature.
