Mariah Hall

Mariah Hall is a junior studio art major at Western and pursuing an AECI minor. Born and raised in Bellingham, she mainly focuses on watercolor, colored pencils, copic markers, gouache, and digital illustrations. Her goal is to create art that tells stories with emotional impact and immerse her audience in the narrative that's depicted. She loves experimenting with new mediums, creating jewelry with polymer clay, and cuddling with her cats in her free time.

This illustration represents a deep connection between a mother and daughter in a state of love and fear, reliving the good and bad together while dreading what is to come. This was commissioned as a gift for the daughter after her mother passed away.
