Caylee is in her final year at Western Washington University as a Creative Writing major and a Sociology minor. She has discovered a creative love of flash fiction and hybrid forms, and hopes to someday publish novels. She has an affinity for rainy day naps, weird alien movies, spoilers for shows she hasn’t watched, and the endlessly nerdy world of dungeons and dragons.
Non-fiction Editor
Halley is in her final year at Western with a major in creative writing and a minor in journalism. She discovered a love of nonfiction and hybrid forms for their experimental possibilities. Her favorite writers include Louise Erdrich, Eula Biss, and Lidia Yuknavitch. Her current hobbies include reading and music, but her dream hobbies would be glasswork, taxidermy, or raising butterflies.
Poetry Editor
Summer Barnett is a creative writing major with a minor in Spanish. She is particularly interested in multimedia work and experimental form. Summer is aesthetically inspired by train tracks, elaborate lampshades, and the cookie factory from Edward Scissorhands.
Fiction Editor
Taught by the step stool and wide skies, Jericho grew up on the Montana hills like a weed. A boy of fairy tales, flight plans, and ecological fascinations, his spirit was not crushed by industrial education, but rather was crushed by plain old heavy things. Jericho is a writer, photographer, and journalist.
