Keith is a junior at Western, earning a degree in Creative Writing. He plans to take his passion for the written word into a high school classroom somewhere in the Northwest, as an English teacher. He enjoys high-mountain trails, banjo music, Bellingham microbrews, and above all, spending time with his wife and daughter.
Anita is a poet, fiction writer, and essayist. She sent a poetry submission to The New Yorker, and got the words, “Good Effort” in her rejection letter! She is a senior at Western graduating with a degree in Creative Writing. She loves movies that pass the Bechdel Test, eating breakfast for dinner, and leaving parties early to reread books by Kurt Vonnegut and Virginia Woolf. She hopes to continue her career in publishing after graduation.
Ellie is a junior at Western, majoring in Creative Writing and minoring in Linguistics. She has been Editor-in-Chief of Igloo and inconnu magazines. Tait will graduate in spring with majors in English Literature and Business Administration. His next chapter involves a move to Memphis, Tennessee, where he will teach high school economics and government as a member of the Teach for America Corps. Tait is a lover of good literature, poetry, and essays, and it goes without saying that his disposable income, when existent, has gone to the good people at Henderson’s Books downtown. He will miss roaming those lofty, well-stocked shelves.
Julian is a Graphic Design major, musician, and denim aficionado. Outside of designing magazines he can be found playing Super Smash Bros. Melee or riding his razor scooter across campus (because it’s faster than walking). Julian is graduating in spring 2018.
Whitney is excited to be graduating from WWU this spring with a BA in Design. When she’s not messing with code you can find her printmaking, lifting, making illustrations, playing harp, and making music around Bellingham with her two bands Cat Valley and Hooves & Beak. Check out her design portfolio!
