2008 Cover Alanna Kelsey Tritt
Editor-in-Chief

Alanna spends far too much time reading for her own good. She is a certified chocolate snob, sushi fanatic, and baking dilettante. In addition to reading, her hobbies include sewing, painting, and singing (not necessarily in that order). She will be graduating with a degree in Creative Writing and eventually hopes to work at a small press. Her short story "Reunion" was published in the 2007 edition of Inkspeak.

2008 Cover Jamie Daniels
Associate Editor

Jamie Daniels has been considered by many internationally renowned magazines to be the greatest up-and-coming possible Professor of the last 25 years. At the young age of 19, she will be graduating Western with a Major in English Literature, A minor in Psychology, and a Certification in being a Gangsta. Jamie will be going directly into her Master’s Program here at Western to start the long journey of teaching at a University. Along with being an avid reader, she also enjoys having awkward moments with friends, studying until her brain hurts, and wasting her life on reality TV shows.

2008 Cover Megan Scales
Associate Editor

Megan has undoubtedly asked you what you are doing with your life to get ideas for what to do with hers. She does know that she hates math of any kind, she loves working with children, and she has always loved art. If you have a way to combine the aforementioned items to create a career (or if you are a very rich, handsome man), she is very open to suggestions (or proposals). She loves the four seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, not the hotel branch), long walks on the beach and laughing. She has never been caught wearing matching socks, and she does not think that geology rocks. You can find her browsing obscure sections of bookstores, trying not to get caught touching the art in art museums, or lounging on her couch at home. She sends out props to her bi-eyed cat, Jayne, for inspiring her to always do her best, but to take a long nap afterwards.

2008 Cover Serena Harms
Associate Editor

Serena Harms is a busy mom who is on the run way too much to sit still for even one minute. Between going to school full-time, working two jobs, and raising kids, the too few spare minutes are spent watching movies with her kids, reading and writing, making jewelry, and going on hikes. Her aspirations to teach have led her to the decision to go on to graduate school to be an English professor. In addition to taking on far too much, Serena enjoys watching Gilmore Girls on DVD, Firefly on DVD, CSI-Miami and House on TV, and losing herself in music while working on homework.

2008 Cover Ryan Scott
Graphic Artist and Jeopardy Online Magazine Director

Ryan Scott spends an alarmingly high percentage of his time on his computer – a sacrifice he is willing to make to better his endeavors into the design field. When he does manage to pull himself away from the glow of his computer’s blue-tinted screen, he likes to go for a run, do some rock climbing, or play some very intensely competitive games of badminton. He hopes his future contains more design projects, particularly the exciting kind that keep him occupied and distracted from the homework he should be doing but is usually putting off until a less-creative mood strikes him.
